    restraprosity

    can anyone tell me what states have reciprocity. I am a NY licensed optician looking possibly relocate

    There are more states that don't require licensure than ones that do.

    To my knowlege, no states offer reciprocity. You should check with each state licensing board to determine what you must do to secure a license.

    I agree with Judy, no reciprocity that I am aware of. If you are licensed and have practiced for over 3 years in a licensed state you should be able to apply to any licensed state to sit for their exam. States like Florida & North Carolina have this requirement for sure. Others may be less strict but can't say for sure. Good luck.
