Inside Optics Show

I think the Inside Optics conference & trade show is an annual event.

To those who have gone to it before, are there many vendors for the frames and optical tools on this trade show? I am asking because the New York Expo is also happening in March. I was planing on going to New York but just read about the Inside Optics. If there are many vedors set up at Inside Optics, then I might as well just go to this one and forget about New York. Just trying to decide which one I should go to.

The show in Woodbridge is from 12 noon to 3pm on Sunday. Probably very few exhibitors.

You want to see a big show it is still in New York, even if I have no idea what the attendance will be these days.

Chris is right this is nothing compared to NY. What ever happened to the vision expo's in T.O?....I miss those.

Vision Expo in NY is an International show - the largest in the Americas. In 2008, about 10% of all attendees (15,791) were from Canada. Another 10% from other international countries. We've released pre-registration numbers in the press two times. We are ahead in registration numbers vs 2008 (based on the same number of weeks away from the show). We've been tracking ahead for 2009 all along.

We're very excited about the show this year. The whole show is going to have a different look and feel, plus tons of new programs. Every year we roll out new initiatives, but this year they're going to make a big impact. I invite you to check out the what's new part of the website.

On a side note, over 1,000 Canadians attended Vision Expo West in Las Vegas last year too.
