    Circumference Measurer

Ok, I have the Hilco circumference measure and I can't not figure out how the tape goes in, very hard to use. Does anyone know of an easier one that I can buy asap? Thanks

I assume that you have the Acusizer/Aquasizer, or whatever gizmo that is supposed to be a one handed measuring messiah?

How about the old standard box-type gauge?

My Hilco catalogue shows one made by Sadler - is that yours?

Attach tape to top front, bend tail of tame back, and around to make a circle. Insert end into slot of initial front piece. After pulling the tail through the front of origional piece, insert through slot on right of the box and secure it outside the box with the little end screw thingy.

    Calculating Circumference
The circumference of a circle is equal to pi times the diameter. In a circle with a 12' diameter, the circumference can be calculated with the following formula:

    pi X D = CIRCUMFERENCE
    3.14 X 12 = 37.68 FEET CIRCUMFERENCE
