    Confused alloy blocker

    Hello,

I've been using a very old Alloy blocker (FB Optical Brand)
for awhile and the rubber nipple sort of thing that goes over the spout to the block is getting so worn out that when filling up the block with alloy, it leaks out all over the place instead of going into the block. Sometimes I can get it to work, sometimes its a real pain. The blocks used are the Coburn aluminum style of blocks for the old Coburn Rocket generator. Does anyone have any idea where I can find some new rubber things?
    Any information would be useful.

Call Mary Larson, she owns what is left of FB and has a good supply of parts.

I think the rubber nipples (spouts) are the same as those used on the old Coburn 99 blocker. If FB no longer has them, then you might try the Coburn (Gerber) route.

    Thanks

Thank you, this is very useful information. I thought that the FB optical company was nowhere to be heard from. That helps alot because my blocker is kinda on its last leg.

    Thanks,
    Josh

She also has parts for FB cylinder machines and lap cutters too. Actually I think all FB equipment. Also has Coburn parts in stock and some used equipment.
