Tyring to push ahead with my assignments with the feastiveseason approaching! But need a confirmation on this actually quite straight forward question on one of my papers:

Draw a diagram showing the thin and thick edge substances on a toroidal surface of a lens and name the base and cross curves on both the convex and concave surfaces.

Now i have one drawn out but i have no way of uploading it thanks to internet at home being down and using the work pc but any help or direction would be great, i kinda just need to know im on the right track even!:hammer:

Why upload? Draw with compass and pencil. If you need to turn it in, use snail mail. There was life before computers.

The base is the flattest and the cross is the steepest, front or back. It used to be that back side was (-) cyl and front side would be used for (+) cyl.

so it turns out i got this wrong but i wont have the paper back until next week as im away, but its really annoying me, can any of you guys upload what you'd hand in for a question like this and i can see where i went wrong?

I drew like a 3d lense, marked the thick edge, the thin edge, the flattest as the base and the curved as the cross
