    Specsavers advice..

I am an optometrist based in New Zealand. We have recently had Specsavers arrive on our horizon and my business partner and I are investigating the options they may or may not offer our currently 2 optom sized independant practice. I understand the business model may be slightly different to what is offered to business owners in the UK; but I'm not sure the grapevine works accurately at all times. They are offering full ownership and 100% profit but with first right of purchase when sold.
I am interested to hear of any experiences anyone may have had with specsavers. Quality of product, service of glasses from the lab, lens and CL options available etc.
And if you have joined Specsavers would you do it again if you had the choice and why? why not?
Thank you in advance for your time and attention to my plight...

Have a friend who owns one in Europe and pays 15% of all sales as a license fee.

Have you looked at the other franchising opportunities available from the other major retail brands?
Perhaps do a pros/cons page on Specsavers vs OPSM? Both companies are offering valuable partnerships, but it would be up to you to know what you want out of the deal.
It’s so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don’t say it.
