I wonder how this would work on ophthalmic lenses? Anyway it is a great advance for renewable energy. Now if they could only make the panels more aesthetic.

Does everyone know that to re-coup your costs on energy with solar pannels it will take 28 years if you need no mantainance and no replacements? And just in case you don't know, electrical stuff, especially that which must live outside doesn't have near that much of a lifespan.
Chip

Chip, what's up ? Do you have a problem with my post ? Why the posting of my "JOIN DATE" ? This is not related to the topic of my post !

Good article. Printed it for my Eco-freak Dr. to enjoy. However, what I'd like to know is -- When the A/R crazes in a couple of years can they strip and recoat or is it a premium A/R that will come with new "cells"? And how long before a homeowner complains the reflex color clashes with his newly painted trim?
Chip is not the guilty one this time.............it was me. I love your post, was always interested in solar panels. Had a few on my boat to keep the batteries charged.
The join date was because Andrew took you for a new member and gave you the big welcome. Probably because he read the Blog 1 as your first post. My apologies if I offended you. :hammer:
Sorry Chip. It has been a while since I posted. I didn't think you would give me "the run around". But Chris Ryser, that I can believe.
