In my over 20 years in practice I hired one untrained person who worked at the Bay Optical and managed the store for several years, but left when they asked her to fit contact lenses. I hired another person who filled in at her friend's optical store, with no supervision. I hired another person who also worked for several years at an optical in Toronto, without any supervision. That's three people I have hired who worked in retail opticals. When I hire untrained people and train them I'm only doing it because opticians are showing me the way.

I am not sure what your point is , we both seemed to have diverged , but I think we both agree the big O College is in desperate need of fixing some items dealing with the Charter of Rights and these items should never have existed in the begining .

The Big & Little O Colleges both have some things that need doing .
