We currently have a Director of Technical Training career opportunity at ourDallas, TX location.

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for leading all management and technical training initiatives with an emphasis on:

Responsible for Essilor Dispensary
· Management

Partner with other functional areas to leverage resources and maintain focus on business critical issues and business results.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Complete an annual needs assessment and develop a training plan, including plan objectives, budget, and resources
· Establish a curriculum baseline and execute basic curriculum flawlessly
· Identify and address consultant and management skill needs
· Ensure development plans are targeted, executed, ensure activities and reporting are aligned with development needs
· Maximize delivery of programs by leveraging meetings and events on annual calendar.
· Work with management to effectively implement the PPR process including: creation and tracking of development/coaching plans, high potential management, benchmarking, and probationary status consultants.
· Partner with the LD&T team to co-lead large scale change and training initiatives.
· Responsible for on-boarding new field personnel through R2E and utilizing other resources as appropriate.
· Build and monitor metrics that assess the impact of programs and services delivered.
· Lead and manage Creekview Dispensary including strategic direction, growth and
· Develop and manage Essilor Speaker’s Bureau activities

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· OD preferred
· 5+ Years related optical/training experience
· 3+ Years experience in project management managing a functional/business unit curriculum
· 3+ Years Dispensary management experience
· Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
· Excellent stand up skills
· Demonstrate strong project and change management experience
· Strong business acumen
· Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, excel, PowerPoint
· Travel is required
