Confused Do Transition Lenses Darken Inside a Car?

If I would buy Transition lenses, the main purpose would be for driving. So I want the lenses to darken when I'm behind the wheel. My concern is that they are not directly hit by sunlight, only by road reflections, so is that enough to darken them?

Sorry for posting here, but I'm not allowed to post in the Transitions forum.

I think this is a simple answer that will not bring me into a conflict of interest with the consumer, so I am going to answer it.

Transitions change minimally behind the windshield of the vehicle. So no, they really do not change. Reason why, is they work on UV, and your windshield blocks UV.

Thank you, that's what I imagined, just wanted a confirmation.
