All you really need is a pen, paper, a lab account, and lots and lots of scripts. Everything else will follow.

Gotta have those scripts - preferably attached to paying clients.

I'd add a dremel for drilling out those broken screws. And one of those Hilco combination punch/riveting tools (the desk-standing one, not the plier).

And, darts and a dart-board; depending on how slow you are, you can perfect your game and earn money at the local pub.

An idea !! Why not get the above equipment and supplies and then invite a few freinds, cousins, neighbours, etc over to help you make a dry run or six through a few Rx's. This would be a good way to see if you need other equipment, supplies, liquor, etc.

I was just going to say I have never worked anywhere there was not a stash of something in the lab. I know we have a bottle of scotch around here somewhere. For medicinal purposes of course. Also there has been the occasional hand gun hidden. You never know.

If you don't have a doctor make sure you can get Rx's out of prescriber's in the area. Concider this to be #1 Priority. If you don't have this, don't open!

    Pretty good list James!

The only thing I had on mine that I didn't see on yours was:

    -Paper clips

-Mono filament line and ribbon or packing strapping for semi-rimless

    -Push pins

    -Open/Closed sign

-Cleaning supplies including glass cleaner, pail, sponge, air fresheners, and vacuum cleaner (unless you're using a cleaning service).

I love this part of setting up the office. Earlier this year, when I set up my latest office, I thought I had everything under control until the first customer walked in and I realized I didn't have a PD rule in sight!!:o:hammer:

A kid's corner would be helpful.

Not glasses, but toys or a lego table to keep little bored hands away from the inventory. My lego table has returned its investement a hundred fold.
