Does anyone know which lenses are used by Specsavers and where to find detailed information about there glasses?
I want to compare them with Rodenstocks lens program!

on the UK board about Specsavers. I don't know if its the same chain you're asking about, but here's their address. They're very nice folks! www.theoptom.com
Good luck to you!

Days where my gratitude exceed my expectations are very good days!
I dont understand you are giving me a link to another forum - why?
for my information, specsaver always using AO PRO 15, and Pentax Mini AF/AF, only
is not a US chain so I'm not sure what information we would have about what kind of progressive they are using. I gave you the UK site because there are people who actually work for Specsavers posting there. They might actually have the information you're looking for.

Some of my friend in uk are working in specsaver, that's what they told me about
Hi Guys, I Don't Work for Specsavers, I own an Independent Opticians in the UK, I can give you some ideas as to what lenses they use. As with most larger chains, their choice of lenses depends on the deals done, but at the moment, most specsavers varifocals seem to be either Pentax, or more often Sola's SolaOne. Specsavers practices are all franchised, so choices may differ from practice to practice, but I am quite happy to help you identify commmon progressive lenses used in the UK if it helps.
Specsavers is by far the largest optical chain in the UK. They use the Pentax brand throughout their lens range, however the actual lenses used at present are as follows --> Budget: AO Pro 15, Good: AO Pro Easy, Better: Hoya GP, Best: Hoya GP Wide & Premium: Hoya Summit Pro. It does vary a little as franchisees have a little flexibility in where they buy their lenses but vast majority use these 5 categories.
Hey check out the site http://www.specsavers.co.uk/
I think you can get the information from there itself.
Check it out ..:)
