VSP has Purchased OfficeMate, 7.4.2 delayed?

Apparently VSP has purchased Officemate, and that is the reason for the delay in them releasing the 7.4.2 update. Which, those of you who are running 7.4 or 7.4.1 are probably dying to have. Just thought I would drop a tip off, for those of you considering purchasing officemate, you may want to wait a few months. Those of you who have it, especially the latest version, good luck.

The good news is that VSP appears to do fairly decent quality work, and it may be for the better that they have purchased officemate.

Actually, Marchon were the owners of Office Mate, which VSP now owns.
We have it here and I dont like it...especially billing...

VSP has a huge incentive to make Officemate easier to use, and less buggy. Yea, I would wait to purchase it (price will probably drop because VSP will want more offices to have it) and it will get better.

I don't think anyone at Officemate has actually visited any of the offices that use thier software.
