After Being Harry's Chris Colombus for the past few days, I think it is time I had a day off, It is as griping as a football final watching Harry driving on the left side of the road. Cheese&rice, he must have rinnging in his ears form me roaring at him

"Harry, you are on the wrong side of the road, Move to the left QUICK"


Got my optiboard Shirt, thank god he di not force lilac dress code, I am a cool blue guy myself

If you want to pass any messages on to Harry I will do so because he cannot log on unless he is at my house.

actually as you may know it is his 25th wedding anniversary and we are holding a suprise party, if you would like to leave your well wishes I could read them out tomorrow night,

Two Words-GET INSURANCE! LOTS OF INSURANCE! REALLY GOOD INSURANCE! QUICK!

Seriously, though-----tell Harry and Mrs. Harry the best of wishes for their anniversary from me! It is a tremendous milestone in our instant society to last for 25 years! I commend and wonder about their secrets!

P.S. Ask Harry to collect some Irish matches in the pubs for me! I will get into contact with him about sending them to me! I am sure ;) Harry knows where they are!

Also, on St. Patrick's Day here in the states we drink green beer, is it always green in Ireland????????????

The surpise party was exactly that.....just a week ago last night!I can't tell you how surprised I was.For the first few minutes both Sue and I thought it was a party for Sue's mother who turned 90 this past summer.....then I saw the signs that Ian had made.....lettering in Maria's lilac no less!After things settled down a bit. Ian gave me the printout of this thread.It really meant a lot to hear from all of you.Sue was appreciative as well. Needless to say I'm BAAACK! having the day off to recover from the journey and begining to prepare for moving my office in a little over a week. Regardless of WHAT Ian may have said about my driving....I managed to get the rental back to Hertz without a scratch....( admitedly cheating death on more than one occasion :bbg: )It was a wonderful trip and grand to hear from you all.

PS Cindy- although I didn't frequent many pubs, I did manage to get some matches. Many of the pubs in Lahinch where we stayed, are using a generic match.I got you some of those too and my daughter contributed one from London where she had just completed a course.That one got squashed up pretty good during yesterday's trip.Just email me your address ( in a couple of days....I must have 200 messages to go through now)hj

Well you can plainly see that Ian has certainly been busy since I left! And not with school work either! ( in his defense, the lad did make 2 appearances at school during our 11 day visit!) Its a shame the photographer couldn't get in the picture because he was wearing his optiboard shirt as well. (thanks to Pete and Margo who got it to me in time!).I hope Maria will take note of my shirt's colour! The cap I am wearing is called a Paddy and comes complete with hair!:D :D The smile however is genuine. The photo was taken outside the house we rented in Lahinch.I am standing on the promonade with the North Atlantic at my back.For all you golfers, the world famous Lahinch links are about a 10 minute walk to my left.
