Vision Expo West - This Year Only: Exhibit Hall Open Friday - Sunday

In celebration of its 20th Anniversary, this year only, International Vision Expo will be held Thursday, October 2 through Monday, October 6 with the exhibit hall open Friday through Sunday.

The promotion-packed show features “Super Sunday” with prizes including new iPhones, shopping sprees, vacations and a grand prize Toyota Prius giveaway for all eye care professionals attending on October 5. Plus, one hundred half-price tickets to Cher’s final performance at CaesarsPalace are available during online registration.

International Vision Expo unveils a new “Travel Ease” program. Complimentary shuttles are available to and from the Las Vegas airport, as well as a special Los Angeles to Las Vegas service. For attendees headed to the airport, the show will reimburse the fee for Bags-to-Go, a vendor that prints your boarding pass, checks your bags at the show and delivers them to the airport.

The show is also proud to extend the country’s largest conference program through October 6 for “Free CE Monday.” Four hours of free continuing education will be offered for ophthalmologists and optometrists as wells as four hours for opticians and staff.

Full details on all 20th Anniversary promotions and registration are
    available at www.visionexpowest.com/20thanniversary.

I looked at the web page and there is no place to sign up for the CEC's - how many people can the auditorium hold? Do we have to stand in line or will there be a registration process?

    Registration to CECs

The CEC registration is online. You go to www.visionexpowest.com and select Register Now. The first 2 pages are general info (contact info) and then you move to select "Continue - Continuing Education" instead of the exhibit hall.

You can view the entire CE program online at: http://www.visionexpowest.com/App/ho...ignID=41449432

    OR

Request a hard copy conference brochure at this link:

    Cher vs. Toyota

There's always a rhyme and reason to decisions. We're constantly trying to think 3 steps ahead of any promotion we do and always to benefit the attendees at our show. Cher tickets are charged for 2 reasons...

1- We need to make sure people make arrangements to stay Sunday night. Me personally, I'd hate to win tickets during Vision Expo to see something that only occurs on a Sunday night if I already made flight arrangements to leave earlier that day.

2 - We want to make sure the people who get Cher tickets actually use them. If we gave them away for free before the show, the recipients could choose to not use them if they decide they don't want to stayover on Sunday night. This would mean other people who want them would lose out on the great opportunity.

It's a benefit driven promo for eyecare professionals who would love to see Cher's final performance at half the price (actually more than half price because there's no processing/tax fees included).

I hope this clears up why some things are free and others are charged.

    Cher

Believe me - there's people who feel the same way as you and then people who love her beyond belief. Tickets are going like hot cakes.
