HI,
Anyone know the timeframe when a new grad gets their license in MA and passes the law exam? Is it early August, late August?
Thanks,
Karen

My answer comes from 1977, when I took my bar exam in MA. I don't know if the timing has changed since then.
The bar exam is usually held in the 3rd or last week in August. We didn't find out the results until October. The formal induction ceremony (taking the oath, etc) was in December.
I remember preparation for the bar exam as one of those times when I wished I could have gone unconscious and woken up after the exam was over. There is so much pressure coming from the expectation that the exam will be tough (it is) and that there is so much material to remember (there is).
Are you the bar exam candidate? Or is it a friend or relative? Are you/(s)he taking the SMH bar review course? That is a big help.
