If the pt. do not need for the computer use Ellipse is ok, for add 1.75

If pt. need computer use, suggest to use purelifeXS, because it has balance principle (help balance dist+int+near), also consider of higher order abberation, which is similar to physio, but the Ellipse do not have it, only Ipseo and Physio have W.A.V.E. technology.

Also the PurelifeXS seems have more technology than Ellipse !

    just my opinion.

I havn't worn it myself but I have had a lot of patients who like the Kodak Concise for short corridors too, and it is available in Trivex.

    Short corridor

First, with a fairly minimal distance Rx it is fair to say that the primary needs will be intermediate and close, with some occasional distance tasks (unless the patient is a truck driver or something).

With 16 high, you could go with a Shamir Piccolo or even a Zeiss GT2 depending on whether you want to have a larger intermediate and near zone (piccolo) or a more balanced lens (GT2).

The new variable corridor, variable inset Autograph II which can go as low as 11 would be another option, but I would say overkill in most instances of this rx.
