So you know, Canada Day is on Tuesday, but many of us are celebrating it early. We get off of work at 1pm today and we are taking the Monday, instead of the Tuesday off.

I'll be taking you up on that soon. I'm relocating to Halifax in a month. Can't wait for the East coast.

Happy Canada Day!!!

This is a weird one. I'm sitting in the store having a beer watching the people walk by. Normally they close down the street for the weekend and have a huge party. It's really confusing now because of the day of the week it falls on this year. Party starts tonight at 7 and ends tomorrow at 3am. Pics will be in my FaceBook starting in the next 12 hours.

Would love to take a trip down there however with our province's newly introduced 'Carbon Tax' on fuel, I'll be spending far too much 'green' just getting meself to and from work. Gas exceeded $1.50/litre in metro Vancouver today. Happy Canada Day, all! We now have another reason to celebrate...

I hope everyone had a great Canada Day. I'm a transplant - I've been here 6 years or so, moved from Tennessee. Each Canada Day I celebrate my decision to move to this wonderful country. My son and I spent the day at the Aviation Museum and had a great time. :bbg:
