Hi there,
I am having a few problems with a couple of questions in one of my assignments. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
I was okay, until they asked me to start mixing and matching equations, and now I am having loads of troubles!
As I am studying correspondence, there is no one to help me.
Questions as follows:
-Light rays are deviated through 18 degrees when they strike a block of glass at 39 degrees. What is the refractive index of the glass?
-A light ray approaches the surface of a medium at an angle of 39.24 degrees, and at a speed of 1.92 x 10 to the power of 8 m/s. Whe nthe ray strikes the surface will it reflect or refract, and at what angle?
-Light strikes the surface of a liquid at 24 degrees and is deviated through 5.25 degrees. At what speed does it travel inside the liquid?
-Calculate the critial angle for interferance between flint glass (n=1.654) and water
Thank you!! :)
