Find the Board's new features

Steve updated the board and there are new features. Lets figure out what they are.

- I saw a tag them just before the reply button.
- In the top right, I can now click my own name
- You can now post messages on posters profiles and add them as friends

Tags - a great new way to categorize posts. For instance you could categorize any posts that discuss progressive lenses with 'progressives', 'progressive lenses' or 'pals' and then use the search tool or the Tag Cloud to find these posts.

I don't recall the "Search this thread" feature being here before. Nor the thread tools to print or email the thread.

I've found the "friends" feature and put my buddy list on. I'm going to add snitgirl because she is!! What will happen is I think she will be contacted asking if it's ok with her. If that is the case I would like to see what the communication is.

I didn't know that there was more than one style. The square thingies are all over, even at the bottom of this page (Dig, Google, etc).

Also, this seems a little slower when changing pages and forums. I have dial-up which may be part of the problem and an antiquated computer.

Hmmm...the squares with red x's sound like the icon that pops up when you can't load the correct image.
