    Recommend a book?

My Boss who runs all of operations (Dining, Safety, Print & Mail, Building Maintenance, Conferences, etc) at our College has asked for a suggestion on a book that all of the directors of these areas could read together. We just finished a management book called GOOD TO GREAT, and many of us have read WHO MOVED MY CHEESE. I am wondering if you all have any recommendations for our group of department leaders? Here are some I found on Amazon but nothing is jumping out at me. Any thoughts?

I think that is the right link. There are a lot of reccomended reading lists. I think they have a full section on books for business/team building!

    Good luck!

I have always liked "Fish". It is a relatively short book but is great for morale.

"The Mindful Leader" by Michael Carroll. Here's a barnes & noble link; only the audio CD version is available on amazon.

Depends what you want to get out of the book.

If you are into processes then "The Goal" by Eliyahu Goldratt is a good read.

If you want to find out what makes your customers and staff tick, then try "Its callled work for a reason" by Larry Winget. He is in your face, but the truth always hurts!!
