    Haag Streit Bulb

Anyone know where I can get a Haag Streit bulb? It is 21mm from the base, it sits on a small brass plate w/ a notch on one side. The lamp sits off to the side of the plate. The plate is 24mm across.

Bulbtronics didn't have the slightest clue. (I had to explain what a slit lamp was)

Burton in Ohio has a good selection of bulbs.

RH Burton.com has a nice page of slit lamp bulbs.

Burton is a pain in the butt though, they'll tell you they have a minimum order of $20 or something close to that. Either buy a few or just tell them you'll get it from somebody else who doesn't do that.

Wilson/Hilco has a lot of different bulbs. I know we get our slit-lamp bulbs through them..

Call Greg Henry at 612.520.6034. He works for Walman Instruments. I called and he knew exactly what you were looking for. They have the halogen and incandescent bulbs.

I've searched for discontinued bulbs in the past and the only person willing to actually research and truly try to help was Don at http://www.donsbulbs.com

If he cant get it, it does not exist.

PS, to make life easy I would call a refurbisher of ophthalmoc equipment fist to get a model number before starting your search, try DIG here in Tampa at www.edigonline.com
