    Trans 6 and Trivex/Phoenix

I have been unable to get a confirmation from my labs-Has Trivex/Phoenix been updated to the newest Transitions 6 as well? I have recieved literature from both Essilor and Hoya touting VI and listing available lens and material options, but nowhere is Trivex/Phoenix mentioned!

    Any help Jim, others!

    Thanks!

    Hi Fezz,
Yes, HOYA Phoenix Transitions VI is launched and available.

The iD PALS were the last product to launch.

Thats what I had assumed, but couldn't get confirmation. The literature didn't confirm either.

    Thanks for the help Jim!

AWTECH, I think I can speak on behalf of Fezz on this one.

Fezz only likes big nameless corporations. Especially Safilo.

He is too big a legend to only support the brain-washing of the 800 pound gorilla's in the industry. What good is being Fezz if you don't keep an open mind to new possibilites in the industry.

By the way, Allen at Ice-Tech is out in front with regards to free form technolgy. He is the only one to design a complete optical system with no regard for the old way of doing things. The future is true digitial surfacing and Ice-Tech has greater capabilities than anybody else in the world.

The future is here and it is time to embrace it or get left in the dust!

My love for BigBoy Opticals knows no bounds.....

Fezz is open minded----way open minded.

I agree that Allen and Ice-Tech are in the forefront of innovation. I am glad to see him offering the trivex materials with the updated transitions, in gray and brown!

I just fear that being at the forefront and actually delivering on the innovation are two different things. Only time will tell.

Until then, an open minded cheers!

    To Safilo.....;)
