    Airclip

Why? Because they are a custom made clip on that can be made to almost any frame. They attach over the bridge so they do not scratch the finish of frames in any place. They can easily be mounted with one hand.

Basically, they are exactly like magnetic clips, but they use a different technology and are adaptable to more frames.

http://www.airclip.com/ The sunlover series is the one I am talking about.

Gotta say I am loving the Profilo. I've heard someone post some bad stuff about them in the past but I've sold about a dozen and they've all been perfect.

I think that was me, my biggest complaint was the matching of colours.

Perhaps they've improved. I've sent them some pretty bizarre colours and I've had no problems.

I have seen them or something identical. It's a great idea since there had to be a better way than tension clips. However the lab guy that showed them to me was overly enthusiastic about the design and I kind of burst his bubble. I can't imagine anyone wanting the dot(magnet)on their lens. It's very visible and either gold or silver. Or(as the rep showed me)if you are a woman you can cover it with a jewel. Even worse, sorry. And the demo kit was expensive. So I passed but I am interested in how others might be doing with these.

6 clips later. Still impressed with Profilo but one sticky point. They provide ICS waybills for free shipping but charge you 9 bucks for shipping on your invoice when you receive the clip and another 9 bucks on your monthly statement. I feel a little mislead by the rep.

    hooks came off

any one had hooks came off on AirClip? we got that a few times; we got the kits 5 year ago, it looks the hole is bit loose for the hook( I mean the female mart),otherwise the clipon is very light, and customers like the bridge design also.

We had them come off the old ones, but not the ones that clip to the bridge. With that said, I do tell customers to be careful on them.

If you have not used them for a while, they have change them. They do still have the hooks, but now have a new custom on that goes over the bridge. It just pinches over it with one hand. It is as good as any magnetic clip

A little dated but I thought it was fair to mention that I was contacted by the owner of the company and the problem has been resolved. Turns out my boss had just been misreading things. Still impressed with their work and now I have another question. Can the custom clip people that do such awesome work on matching frame colours re-plate frames in other colours? I have no idea how this works.

Lack of imagination, i guess.. It's all about the art of selling. A 2mm magnet in the lens...almost like the nose-pad arm that all frames have.... and are always there and visible, right through the lens.

Demo kit being expensive? Demo kit comes with 4 comp vouchers. First two vouchers to consumers makes your ROI. The next two vouchers will double your ROI. If you were not offered that, let us know, we'll right it.

There are quite a few labs manufacturing Chemistrie, some producing 25 and 35 Chemistries per day. Chemistrie has increased the demand for ME-1000 edgers, so much that they've integrated the product into the edger firmware.

Granted, it's a very polarizing product. People either love it or they hate it. Those that love it, profit from it. Those that dont', don't.

    Wave

Personnaly, Iprefer the Chemistrie clip. It's a magnetized clip, easy to put together .Specially if you are running an ME 1000 from Nidek. The software is intergrated in the edger. Needless to say it make life much easyer.

    Sunclipies

For your information, we invented a completely new type of Sun Clip Ons: the Sunclipies ( http://www.sunclipies.com ). They are manufactured for all eyeglass frames (and rimless eyeglasses) in the world. Very nice design (not touching the eyeglass design), unbreakable, not scratching, no weight, very small when not in use,....

    Many Regards
    Chris

    Thank you!
We already have many opticians ordering from us, worldwide.
Several colors were sold out much quicker than we thought they would. We re-ordered them already. Which colors would you be most interested in?
