I work for 3 MD's in a 1-person dispensary and wondering if anyone might have any books or articles on optical retail management. Specifically, I am trying to figure out what my sales goals should be, also, my lab cost percentages. The Dr's I work for are wonderful people, and they want me to continue to increase sales (which I am doing currently), but none of them are business managers. I have been given no guidelines with which to gauge progress, calculate cost controls, inventory controls, profit/loss, etc. If anyone can help with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
