Done Deal

I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my queery on leaving a large company for a smaller one. Its a done deal now. I start my other job on the tenth of this month. I DO feel better about it now, too. I dont think its me at all whos sealing their fate. Its the company I'm leaving. Their losing a loyal,hardworking associate.
I'm going to jump into this other company feet first and hope not testing the waters first does'nt break my fledgling career. I'm more serious about my job than alot of people I know and have worked with. So its very important to me that I succeed at this new company. Wish me luck!

You won't be sorry. The sad thing is that the large company that employed you won't be either. Those places like "Stepford Wives" the best, whether male or female. Anybody with an independent spirit doesn't fit into their game plan. Just hang those polycarb progressives with the cheap AR coat on every 90 year old you can, and they're happy. They don't much care who's doing it. It's much better to be a larger fish in a smaller pond where you are appreciated more. And never be afraid to talk people OUT of the add-ons that would be detrimental to them. You'll do great.

Fly and be free!!! Good luck to you I only wish it was me too!! Someday very,very soon! This monotonous routine is getting old for me too. There is much more to it than just that but really don't want to get into it. I am very happy for you. I hope that you enjoy your new job,and learn alot of great new stuff. Just don't forget to come on the Optiboard and share with us less fortunate chain slaves!! I have to live vicariously through everyone else!
