I will give my fellow optiboarders a week to find the correct answer to this.
Thus far only one 16 year old girl has got it right, no minister, priest, educated person, etc. has come close.
There is one sentance in the Bible that in more important than all others. And if this one sentance isn't correct everything in the Bible is false.
What is the sentence?

I hate to pitch in so soon after I said I would wait a week. But I am amazed and pleasantly supprised that you are are on target.
I had thought that with as many atheists, agnostitcs, etc. that we have on the board I thought it would be a miracle (perhaps it is) if anyone came close.

I believe the "Big Bang" is plausible but ask, "what was it's cause?"
It seems logical to me to say that the cause of the universe was either an eternal mass of matter that at some point somehow changed and became unstable, or it was an eternal personal force. So the question is really this; since something must have been eternal, was the cause of the universe personal or non-personal?
Therefore, I would say that it is reasonable to suggest that God was the cause of the universe since it is necessary for there to be an eternal first cause. I would say that is more reasonable than believing in an eternal non-personal galactic dust bunny.
I will take Pascal's wager on this one.
Furthermore, what is provable? At best I think we can say that evidence makes belief a fairly small leap. So if you only believe or trust what is provable please tell me what you believe.
