    Hours

While "Looking for Hours" as opposed to wanting to learn is always sad to my ears. Call the OAA , they have lots of courses that are "mail order". You just read a simple booklett, mail/fax in a standard question sheet. Near instant credit. Have done this on Dec. 31 and managed to get certified.

Are you going to Vision Expo West? There are many wonderful courses being offered there. Some by esteemed OptiBoarders! Additionally, I've read your post regarding you start up operation of an in home and business dispensing service. No place like an expo or other trade/professional gathering to get your network going!

You can get CE's over the internet at opticaltraining.com. I believe the fee is $33 per credit hour.

    online ce

www.visioncarece.com offers credits online, hence the name, and the credits are 25.00 per credit hour, 45.00 for 2 credits.

They just added about 7 new courses to thier Optometrist listing, and they now have a pretty decent listing of courses.

also, I agree that its a shame that people are usually looking for "hours" to fulfill, and thats why I like the online CE aspect, because there is usually a test associated with the courses, so at least people are somewhat forced to learn. (even though they are "open book" tests)

    Good Luck!

CEC's should never be taken for hours, only for knowledge.
