Blue Jumper Looking For Suggestions For High End Frames

I have just been given a dose of freedom in my dispensary and the doctors are allowing me to bring in a high end frame line. I would like something not too eclectic and not overly "Bling-y". We are hoping for around a 12-16 piece buy-in or less and retailing between $500 and $700.

Our office is near Austin, Tx. Our current high end frames are T2, Silhouette, Prada, & Versace.

Any advice you can give would be appreciated.

Shibumi and Exottica from Eye-Level Corp.
Gold, Platinum, wood and horn, retail is just what you are looking for.
all drill-mounts, jewelry quality, German hardware, Japanese plating over titanium, serial numbered.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try to contact the manufacturers today. I have also been thinking of Cartier, Cazal, and Luxee. Has anyone dealt with these lines?

It depends who your market is whether to have Cartier and Cazal. They are prime targets for shoplifters. None of my upper middle class clients would want them but some of the thugs that come in asking for them scare me.

Cartier won't let you get in with 12 pieces, more like 80 pc. buy in. Not sure about Cazal - if your local rep is independent then perhaps they can be more lax on opening orders.

Most of your "branded" lux lines want to do business with loyal accounts and offer some exclusivity to that account like a guarantee not to open another 'door' within a 5-10 mile radius from that location. In exchange they require a commitment, larger buy-ins.

Most start at over 30 but sometimes you can get in for 24 if there is no other saturation in your area. It would have to be a lesser-known line with few accounts in the state to go for a 12 pc. buy in.

I think that there is some opportunity in finding a gem of a line that nobody has but is amazing quality. Fred/Tag Hauer is up and coming and depending on your territory they might be willing to open you with a small commitment.

I'm sure there are others, too - the fun is in the finding!

+1 on vera wang good looking not to blingy, also teka has a lot of wood and buffalo horn pieces.

Most of the high end lines are 20 piece or more buy in "so you can accurately represent the line" at least that was what porsche told me.
