    Thanks, Canada!

    Thanks for the bitter,single-digit temperatures you so thoughtfully sent our way this weekend. My rear window on my car thanks you because it shattered when I warmed up my car.

    On the other hand, real thanks for sending us The Guess Who and the Cowboy Junkies.:cheers::cheers:

    I will be traveling in NWT next week and will be within 150km of the Arctic circle. I will log in and give an update on Tuesday. For the record, Ekati was -37C the other day not including the wind chill.

    I have arrived safely and current temperature is -41C without the wind chill. For anyone who cares, after -20C, cold is cold.

    minus 30 C here today, and with the windchill it was about minus 45. Only a 4 foot deep snow drift across my whole driveway.

    supposed to warm up to minus 17 C by end of the week!

    :-}

    Beats hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, wildfires and 110F in the summer though.

    Last week we had our winter with lows 28-30, it's gone now and we are pushing 60. We hope for spring in another week or two with 70's and high 70's.

    Eat your heart out!

    I landed briefly in EDM on Sunday evening. Cold, bumpy, and a ton of blowing, drifting snow on the runway.

    The weather forcast was just updated to include long periods of white-out conditions and windchills to -40F (same as
    -40C) Next it's going to move to Ontario. ;)

    You can keep it. It was -41C this morning at camp and I was looking forward to returning to the balmy Ontario winter.
