We currently have a IHMS Project Manager career opportunity at our Dallas, TX location.

POSITION PURPOSE:
The IHMS Project Manager is responsible for managing the launch of all IHMS projects involving the Operations team. Working closely with the Regional Directors, the Project Manager will ensure all necessary resources from IHMS and various EOA channels are involved and working jointly to achieve effective and timely launch. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and enforcing all the steps of the IHMS project launch process from inception until the launch has occurred and the IHMS Plan Specialist can take over and manage the maintenance phase.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain intimate understanding of operational constraints and characteristics of each EOA Channel, including systems, pricing and data reporting structures in order to facilitate new project launches
· Maintain and develop close relationships with EOA channels’ team members to ensure consistent communication and smooth pre-launch activities.
· Help maintain Project Plan documents up-to-date, and build other operations resource documents pertaining to each new project.
· Organizes project meetings and pre-launch activities in conjunction with the Plan Specialists and Regional Directors.
· Build and maintain overall IHMS project pipeline documents.
· Support Regional Directors efforts by coordinating New Project activities with rest of IHMS team as needed.
· Communicate and work effectively with IHMS team to escalate any issue affecting project launch delivery when needed.
· Regularly attend and participate in team meetings and joint customer service calls
· Demonstrate 100% follow through in every commitment.
· Escalate unresolved or urgent business issues to ensure proper attention or preempt potential adverse relationships.
· Other duties as directed by Manager.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· College degree required.
· Ophthalmic industry or healthcare experience required. Managed Care experience is a plus.
· Minimum of three years of project management experience.
· Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills. Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
· Must be articulate, a good listener with excellent command of the English language in both written and oral forms.
· Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.
· Adaptable to changing priorities and ability to work effectively with short deadlines.
· Must be hardworking, a self-starter and a problem solver.
· Proficient with MS Office, Visio.
· Work well with others in a spirit of cooperation and teamwork.
