Which Democratic candidate will win the Iowa caucus on January 3rd?
Joe Biden
Hillary Clinton
Chris Dodd
John Edwards
Mike Gravel
Dennis Kucinich
Barack Obama
Bill Richardson
Which Democratic candidate will win the Iowa caucus on January 3rd?
For those not following this race, most recent polls have Clinton, Edwards, and Obama in a statistical dead heat. I can't help but think Clinton will pull this one out.
Come on! Who put Kucinich?! *lol*
I’d love to see Kucinich win, but of course he doesn’t stand a chance. I honestly don’t think Clinton will pull it off, and if she does I will suspect shenanigans. I will be happy and sort of expect either Obama or Edwards to win. Just because of the historical significance, I want Obama, but on the issues I really much prefer Edwards and hope he pulls it out.

It has nothing to do with her husband or the family name, but she is very corporately driven, and the networks seem to be treating her like their golden child, that’s why I would suspect something…but based on the stuff I’ve been seeing I don’t see that she has a chance, and more than anything else that’s why I would be suspicious of a victory by her. Obama will probably win, Edwards stands a good chance too, but I think he’ll get 2nd.

What a great reason to vote for someone.
Never mind the fact he has little or no real experience in international affairs and has a Muslim name, of course "he's christian" and I'm from Mars.
Bill, seriously get a grip
There are Muslims with “Christian names”, and there are Christians with Muslim names. Not all Muslims are evil, not all Christians are evil, though there are certainly evil members of both faiths.

It does not matter. They will lose. They really should look at hiring Carvelle. The democrats don't have a clue as what is going on. They have no one to beat any Republican frontrunner.

Why Fezz, how can you say such a thang? And you Billy.
We all knows Hillary would make the very best possible president, of Haiti, or the Dominican Republic or any number similar states.
Chip
Well I couldn't be happier about the results last night....Well the only way I could have been happier is if Edwards was a little further up the results, but Clinton came in third and that makes me smile.
And I don't go into the Republican poll and sling mud and try to skew results. Please have the respect to treat opposing opinions seriously and I will do the same.

Accolades for Grubendol, and I suppose this is mud slinging but..
I seem to observe that there are about as many anti-Hillary democrats as there are anti-Hillary republicans. I sumise that there are about as many people with some sense in both parties.
Odd think is Hillary has intimated that WOMEN would rise up and follow her, Women seem to like her less as a group than men.
Chip
Chip, thanks.
I understand your Hillary commentary, though the only Hillary "supporters" I have met are women, and ironically enough I think that Edwards' wife has it right when she says that her husband has a better record on women's issues than Hillary does. The only thing that makes her a good women's candidate is that she is a woman, on the issues facing women both Edwards and Obama have better records.

No kidding. Incompetent and floundering would probably be kindest words I could use to describe Reid and Pelosi's political leadership. They make Bush look like a heavyweight. But their heads up their butt political skills won't be enough to sink their ship. (See below.)
I disagree. Any of the top five democratic candidates could easily beat any republican. A terrorist attack, flourishing economy, and Iranians sleeping with the Israelites won't be enough to put a pub in the house. The independents are going to swing the dems way, and even a few republicans are going to jump ship. Hey, it happens every ten or fifteen years or so, and now is the time. They have no one to beat any Republican frontrunner.

Hey, I've been wrong before. I do not think it unlikely that will be a terrorist attack before the election. They were sucessful in influncing Spain. I just can't figure how an attack would have an positive effect for the terrorist. Hell, if they can kill a large number of people, that may be enough for them.
As for the bunglings of GW Bush, they are way overrated. When his presidency is history, and an honest comparison is done with Carter or Clinton people will see he didn't do such a bad job. In the you can't handle the truth department, we had to invade Iraq before the developed nukes. It would have been a much uglier war otherwise. (You may try to argue they never were. I'd say to that, Iran is not trying to develop nukes either. They are simply enriching uranium. DUh.)
If the republicans nominate an off the waller like Huckabee, they are in deep trouble. I don't think they will. If the Democrats nominate Hillary, she'd likely bring Edwards as her second. She'd feel more comfortable with a good looking southern boy sharing her oval office. (I'm not saying Obama is not good looking. )
You rely on polls to provide information. Remember the polls have been wrong the last two elections. Also I will point out that the real campagne has not yet begun.
Still and all, Barak Hussein Obama has about as much chance of getting elected in this day and age as someone named Kunishiwara would have during WWII. On the other hand, someone said Huckabee sounds like a restaurant chain, to which I agree. Sadly, Fred Thompson seems to have run out of money and I rather liked him.
