1000th Member Pool...Thats POOL not POLL

As of today 8-7-01 we have 968 members!During July alone we gained 92.Mathematically that rate would place our thousandth member joining somewhere around the 20th of August.August is a vacation month, things may slow down some.Back to school thoughts may have some potential members sidetracked.The members could heat up the referral contest, or it could rain alot and things could pick up even faster!

I am picking August 21st!

You are welcome join me, or pick your own date in August or September.You are also free to start a membership drive to favor the day you pick.Other than you may NOT edit your post to change the date, its kind of like Canadian Football....whatever rules you want!:D :D ( apologies to our valued members from Canada.....it just looks that way to us! You gave us back Doug Flutie for which we are grateful!)

Harry: Aug 21st is prolly the most likely, but I am gonna pick "August the 22nd" for 2 reasons:
#1 It will be more interesting if we pick different dates!
#2 Maria will be visiting stateside, and this will affect the speed of registration because all the optigals and guys here in the US will be talking about and checking out the Lilac Lass instead of signing up on Optiboard! Now when they learn that they might actually get a chance to converse with this Lilac Lass on Optiboard, of course they will stampede to their keyboards! So we will have a flood of #1000+ signees! (Hey, how about a lilac optiboard hat for the winner?? Just a thought....

I guess i should explain. I read harry's post just yesterday and i did not look at the original post date which was 8-7-01. So when i replied it was 8-13-01 and i thought at that point there was only 968 members. At the time i thought was going out on a limb.............I didn't realize that i was going to climb all the way out and fall off and break my neck.
