    Retail pricing on freeform progressives?

Anyone know how much Shamir Autograph, Zeiss Individual or other progressive freeform lenses are retailing for?

    Individualized digitally surfaced lens prices

Since this is a retail price question I will post a reply here, however I think you will find it better to have price discussions on the:

    Eyecare Professionals Only

We produce the ICE-TECH Individualized digitally surfaced lens, and this as well as the products you mention are typically sold by our dispensers for between $100 and $150 more than the top priced molded PAL in similar material.

I know that Wal-mart tells some type of free form progressive marketed under Nikon (I think) . Of course my old co worker is the only one that knew anything about it and it was priced for about $435 dollars. It seems to me that Wal-mart is not positioning that product very well. If someone is going to Wal-mart for glasses, would they really spend that amount of money on the lenses alone??

Not everyone shops at WalMart just to get the cheapest of the cheap. Some people are diehard Walmart fanatics and will ONLY shop there. *shrug*

There was another thread on here where a WM optical associate said that they were selling 20-30% freeform progressives if I recall correctly. WM also has $2000 televisions. While not the best of the best, they are a high quality, name brand plasma, 60" - and they sell.

That price you mentioned is poly w/super-slick AR.

I have tried several times to join with no luck. I tried to set up a PayPal account and for some reason I can't. I even allowed cookies. I tried to pay with a credit card and this site didn't allow it.

Actually, the Nikon lens you're talking about is a hi-index lens and sells for $389. There is also a poly lens that the Zeiss rep swears is freeform, called the SolaOne that sells for $210.
