    KBCo filter axis

Hey everybody. I've recently started having trouble with these lenses. They have the various ways of marking the axis of the filter, either notches in the side, or more recently, the raised arrows or a mark across the lens. I don't know if this is a problem that recently showed up or just something that I am finally noticing, but today I found two polarized lenses that had the filter axis marked incorrectly. I pulled 10 random lenses from stock and checked the axes on them, and 2 of those were also marked wrong. The first thing that tipped me off to the problem was that I could hardly see the display on the StepOne blocker unless I rotated the lense. The differences ranged anywhere from 15-90 degrees off. Anyone else have this problem either recently or in the past? Has this been an ongoing problem I'm just now noticing?

We've had a few (nowhere near 2 in 10, but enough) be exactly 90 degrees off before.

I had some problems along that line years ago with them. Good luck trying to get any credit.
