Overseas Optician

I'm not an Optician, but seeking information for my girlfriend who is a certified optician in Germany. She's been doing it for about 5 years now and is thinking about moving to Canada.

Do you know if she'd be able to maintain her credentials here in Canada? What do you think a starting salary for her would be at her level of experience? It would be in Toronto, Ontario. What can be done to speed this up?

You really should post this in the Canadian forum. There are several Canadians on this board who have alot of experience and could at least tell you about whether reciprocity exists and what the licensing requirements are.
