Favorite progressive for deep frames?

We were talking about this at work today. What progressives do you like for deep frames? I am talking about fitting heights of 25 or more.

Any progressive lens that will give you the correct seg height and decentration. Remember minimum fitting height is NOT maximum fitting height.

I, at first, thought that the old long corridors would be my answer, b
ut then I remembered my beef about the 2 best of them- The Gradal Top And Varilux Comfort.For higher power segs, the user finds he has to hold his head uncomfortably high to read anything at computer distance. This has been solved by lenses like the GT2 . I can't imagine this design would be a problem for segs 25 or more. I know I have fit it at 22-23 mm with no problem. If I know a pt. does no computer, I still give them a long corridor.
I also have never had a non-adapt to the Image AND I LOVE MY DRIVEWEAR!

Deep B measurement frames do not mean you need a longer corridor or have the near vision lower in the frame. The patient will have more difficulty looking lower in a deep frame, (really deep or B over 38mm). In most cases the same difference between far and near will work equally well for a patient.

Example: If the same patient had two frames one with a 28mm B and the other with a 40mm B, you would not want the reading area of 10mm to have the bottom of the reading at the lower part of each frame.

Have you tried the Definity? Their "ground-view advantage" (which is just a fancy way of saying that the add shelves off to the DV power at around 24mm, like an old TK) means the patient can look under the seg and see the ground. Great for older folks who may have more issues with balance and tripping.

I like this lens. In fact, it is one of the ones I recommended to my coworker who was deciding which progressive to use.

The Sola Percepta works great at any fitting height above 19mm! I use it all the time for my pt's.
