Need Help with gerber coburn lens washer

I recently purchased a gerber coburn len washer used, and i was not sent the manual. I was wondering if anyone new where i could get the manual for it, or find some quick intructions on how to use it. Thank you for your time.

Have you tried to contact Gerber to get a manual. Most times they have manuals to send out for replacements.

Not much to the lens wash - three position switch (off, foot switched, constant) Thermostat is under the pan near the front - usually the only thing that ever goes out as long as you keep the fan clean. Make sure you use their wash agent and defoamer - if you don't use the defoamer your life is a mess for a few hours (and the thermostat may get messed up as well.

Basic use - fill with water until the floating ballast raised (as I recall, about 3 quarts). Add one dose of Gerber's lens wash (about 1/2 cup) and a cap full of their defoamer. Will take about 20 minutes to get to temp. Set the switch to foot switched. Place two lenses on the table and depress the foot switch - lenses will go into the chamber on one automatic cycle. At the end of the day put the switch to automatic and start cleaning your blocks.

But I can do that with my hands, and I don't need manuals for that! Why a machine?

Even if you use surface saver tape? We're alloy people, sorry!

Or is this more if you're talking about next applying a thermally-cured hard coat or AR coat?

It's for removing wax from the front surface after fining/polishing. It's a pointless product if you're an alloy lab.
