Disney World!

Tomorrow the husband and I are going to Disney World for 5 days. It's our first vacation in 3 years!!!!! We gave explicit instructions for the office not to call unless the place was burning down.... (which since there is some mall-wide sewage problem that is causing water to seep out all of the drains in over the floor and into carpeting right now, I doubt anything will burn!!!!). Right now, it's not my problem!!! Hallelujiah Disney!!

Welcome to my neck of the woods! The weather is perfect(highs mid 80's/lows mid 60's) and the crowds aren't to bad. Perfect time to visit Mickey. Hope you have a great time!

I've never been to Disney World. The wife went once a couple of years before we met, but we go to Disneyland a couple of times a month. We were there this weekend actually. Does WDW get all dressed up for Halloween too?

Well we're back and we had a great time!! It was still a little too warm for our liking, but we survived. Now we need a vacation from the vacation!! October is a great time to go...the crowds are less and there's the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot as well as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. All the kids and a lot of the adults dress up! It was great!! Now I'll have to start saving for all of those $80 princess dresses and the $300 trip to the Bippity Bobity Boutique when we finally have a daughter to take to Disney! We're now resolved to try our very best to take at least 2 vacations a year.
(and I still haven't heard from the stupid state board about that patient....guess it's better than receiving a bad letter from them!)
