    Newt Gingrich says that he will compete for the Republican nomination if his supporters pledge $30 million by October 21st. How much do you plan to contribute?

    I have never contributed to a political campaign, but in this case as Newt is the smartest and best educated man in the field on either side, I will send him as much as I can spair.
    If someone else with a brain on either side should run I might reconcider.

    Newt is not my choice, of course I'd vote for any Republican that wins. Because things like this,
    congressman John Dingell wants 50 cents a gallon federal gas tax. Seems typical to me. Guess what party he is a member of.
