Are You Ready For Some FOOTBALL?!?

Apparently my Colts are ready! If they're really as good as they looked Thursday night, the commissioner should allow them to take the rest of the season off and match them up with someone in the AFC Championship game (just so they can beat the Chargers this year).

But enough smack... Well, maybe just a little more.

Penn State starts out with a 59-0 thumping of a "cupcake" (and Notre Dame appears to be another Twinkie)...
Michigan LOSES to a "cupcake" (and is getting thumped by a PAC-10 team, which is one step up)...
Florida State loses to Clemson (again) pulling JoePA within 2 games on the all-time win list...
Colts start out by shutting down last year's premiere offense (while repeatedly burning my least favorite of last year's Colts- Jason "can't cover" David)!

Can one person absorb so much happiness???

Going to the Cowboys-Giants game tomorrow night with some co-workers... hard to know for whom to root (last time I was in Texas Stadium, the Cowboys beat the Colts, so I guess I'll root for Peyton's brother).

Enjoy (I know I am while it lasts... cause seasons have a way of turning ugly reaaaaaaal quick)!

Go get some payback tonight, JoePA!!!

You forget, I was there... There was no luck- or doubt- about it (the Colts deliberately waited until 1:00 remaining to put the game away... just to give us all some drama :^).

I guess its time to start asking if Brady can beat the Colts (he's lost three straight now).

Seriously, the Pats looked pretty good- against the Jets.

Way to go Nittany Lions. Looking forward to next week's match-up of Michigan & Notre Dame!

Sure wish the Saints had shown us some Thursday. However down heah in the South we supports both them Manning boys so it wasn't as heartbreaking as it could have been.

I wouldn't start quessing at least until you get to the number that Peyton consecutively lost to the PATS!
I was on the golf course yesterday at the MA opticians fall tournament but I am anxious to read about it in todays paper which should be arriving momentarily!

I thought I had deleted the duplicate post but neglected to check off the "physically remove" button. I must admit, Gemstone had me rolling around in laughter with his response, ........almost up to the point of leaving the duplicate where it was!

I love my Niners and it’s refreshing to feel hopeful about them again after the last few years. I love that they are wearing the 80’s jersey all season as a memorial to Bill Walsh, I just wish I lived in an area that televised the Niner games….but at least I’ll get the one tonight!

Yeah, I became indoctrinated into football in about 86. Loved the Niners ever since. It was a good game, though i'm a little frustrated that we struggled as much as we did with the Cardinals. Still a win is a win.

i saw them play in 94, the year they won their last super bowl. In fact the game I went to was the last game against the former LA Rams.

I was surprised to see how well Moss did Sunday. Usually when they start getting mouthy like that, their careers are pretty much done.

He's always been mouthy. I'm sitting right now about a mile from where he played college ball. And he was a PIA even then.
