I PASSED!!!!!!!

I received my results today!! :) :) I was so excited when I read "congratulations" I knew it had to be passing(even if just by the skin of my teeth)I am so thrilled I can't even hardly think of what to say. I just can't believe that I actually did it. I also want to express my deep appreciation to everyone for moral support and answering all of my stupid questions. I think everyone on Optiboard is very supportive to fellow opticians out there even though most of us don't even know eachother. Thanks for helping me through a very rough time!I hope that everyone else who took the test has good results also. Did anyone else get their results yet? I am going to assume that they haven't yet since I didn't see any other posts on it. Good luck everyone! My thoughts and prayers are with each of you!!

Thanks everyone! I am still doing the victory dance :) I have even picked the notice up a few times just to check and make sure it is right LOL! Jeff, ABOM?! I still have to conquer NCLE!! It was nice of you to say, but in all honesty I am not that good yet. I do appreciate everyone's posts. My husband and I just came back from Biloxi,MS. Anyone who has been there knows I had a great trip and anyone who has not NEEDS to go. Then today finding good news in the mailbox was just the icing on my cake of an awesome week. There were only 2 bad things to our trip: we hit thunderstorms almost the entire 10 hour drive and had to pull over several times and 2 we had to come back to this town we live in! YUK!

Steph...How can I not also say Congrats, I can't remember who said it, but not only is this where the real learning starts, but as I've found out after more than 30 years of fiddling around with patient's noses, ears, eyes, cheeks, eyebrows and other unmentionable parts, I still learn something new every day.

Congratulations Steph! I passed too, as did one of my fellow co-workers who didn't have a lot of Optical experience but studied her a$$ off! We did have one person here who didn't pass, but she is going to give it another try in the fall. All I can say is "Whew!"

Congratulations to you. Having to wait for results is the hardest part of the test. Some will tell you it was no big deal, when they took the test, and that it was the easiest test they ever took, but I will guarentee you that they were sweating bullets waiting for their results. YEAH PAM!!!!! I am soooo happy to hear that you also passed! Congratulations :) :) :)We also had another one in our office take the Abo and Ncle and he passed both. Of course he went to school so there really shouldn't be any reason why he didn't. I am so thrilled to death for all of us. I was at work today still bouncing off the wall(as if I didn't normally :) The Rocky theme music is still playing in my head!

I hate the waiting myself. It always seems so long. Then you run into the first few people to get their results back and you start getting worried. Being towards the end of the alphabet in mailing lists is the worst.

Congratulations on your achievements! Don't stop now though. Knowledge is so important in such a competetive industry with new technology being introduced so rapidly.

Congrats! I passed, too, and I still can't come down from it. Looked at the envelope for 10 minutes before I'd open it. I'm framing the letter, forget the certificate! :)
