where is Jaqui?
She's had some health problems, she has been posting some on the Laramy-K forum. :(
I’m sorry to hear about the health problems. I can relate and hope all ends up well!

Thanks, for the most part I feel better….still have to be careful with what I eat and how often I eat, but feeling better.
I have to go back in Oct. 1st to have my stents replaced, will probably be in the hospital overnight again, but shouldn’t have to deal with the god awful NG tube this time.

I'm Baaccckkkk I'm suffering from cancer of the esophogus(sp?) and diasteritis. Surgery for the cancer will be on 9/11 and in the mean time I'm going to Northwood, N.D. to cover the relief effort following a tornado. I'm also not tooo sure of my sanity, but what the H---. :shiner:
I also have a new toy---mobile high speed internet, should help me get on the boards more often (barring any hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, etc)
Have Fun !!!!!
P.S. Has anyone heard from any of the North Dakota members, I would like to meet with them while I'm here if possible.
Hi Jacqui,
I am glad your feeling better and hope you beat it. Helping people recover from a storm while you are battleing your own problem is a true testament of your life. We should all take a page from your book.
Thank you!!!
Glad to see you are back. I was worried not hearing from you for these past 2 months. Wish you a speedy recovery.
Eric
Jacqui good luck with the surgery and a quick recovery.
I didn't know that I was really this popular. :)
Update: Surgery is tomorrow at about this time, I'll let everyone know how things go after I wake up.
Good Luck Jacqui

\I sympatize with your discomfort and wish you the best, a speedy recovery and all. But God is still spelled with a capital G. Be a good thing to remember if you really want to recover.
Chip
Chip, please let's not do that again..."God" is only spelled with a capital if you believe...I don't happen to, so it's sort of irrelevant to me. i usually do capitalize out of respect, but I have a crappy keyboard where the shift key doesn't always work, and that's why even in this little message you see I only capitalize "i" half the time.

From one former member of the "C" club to another -- I hope the surgery is successful, that your recovery is easy and quick, that you do everything to help your body recover its equilibrium, and, most especially,
That you join the rest of us in the "Survivors of C" Club :D

Surgery went well. Dr removed a squamous carcinoma about 19 x 8 mm along with polys, etc.I'm still on drugs
Hey Jacqui!
Glad to hear the surgery went well. My 10 year old wanted to know who Jacqui is that we're praying for. I told him, "She's a real cool optician!" (My wife didn't even ask...she's praying right along with us.)
Do the drugs, and anything else that will help!
Thanks again for the great news!

I wish you well Jaqui! I am truly amazed at how much you give of yourself to others. I wish you a speedy recovery, and one that is "side effect" free as possible.
*hugs*

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.
Thank you everyone !! I actually had a faily normal breakfast this AM, the first solid food in almost a month.
YES!!!!!!!!!:cheers::cheers::cheers:
Congratulations on the successful surgery. If you're interested in some herbal remedies that can help clear out the toxins from the anaesthesia and what ever other meds you're on, or some good immune system boosters that seem to work especially well in cancer treatment, just PM me.
Your aura shows your kindness and generosity and it continues to grow and shine :D
Keep it up!!
