    Auto Log-in

I created a simple HTML file that automatically logs you into vision web. I have mine set up on my desktop as an active desktop panel. When I press the Vision Web button it automatically opens a new browser window and logs me in. To use it their are a few things that need to be changed:
    1. Open file in a text editor
    2. Replace "REPLACE WITH USERNAME" with your Vision Web username
    3. Replace "REPLACE WITH PASSWORD" with your Vision Web password
    4. Save the file into a folder or directory where you will remember
    5. Right click on the desktop and go to "Properties"
    6. Click on the "Desktop" tab at the top
    7. Click on the "Customize Desktop..." button
    8. Click on the "Web" tab
    9. Clcik the "New" button and then the "Browse" button
    10. Navigate to where you placed your vwlogin.html page and whalla save it all down and your done.
Keep in mind that this is not a secure way of accessing it, anyone with access to the vwlogin.html file can extract the login and password information so make sure it is only on a computer that is secure.

Well unfortunately I get a page that my session has timed out.

I also tried logging in separately and clicking it, same result.

    Any ideas Harry?

What browser are you using? I have it running on an Win XP machine with IE 7.0 and do not encounter any session errors.

    Hi Harry, thanks for replying...

I am on XP in IE 6.0. Not sure if I want to upgrade to IE 7, caused a few headaches for our team...

Guess I'll just have to get used to logging in 10-20 times a day
