VWI Positioning VisionWeb’s Online Ordering Service and Practice Management Integrations as Valuable Tools for Streamlining VWI Members’ Practices
Austin, TX – June 25, 2007 - VisionWeb, the online service to help eyecare providers streamline and simplify their practices, and VWI (Vision West, Inc.), one of the top ophthalmic purchasing groups in the nation, announced today their collaboration to promote VisionWeb’s ordering services to VWI members.
VWI members are encouraged to take advantage of VisionWeb’s services to help automate ordering eyecare products to their VWI-approved suppliers. VWI members will benefit from accurate, convenient eyecare product ordering and tracking, available to them online through the VisionWeb website or practice management systems integrated with VisionWeb. Orders placed using VisionWeb are received by the lab sooner and are automatically put into process, providing the customer with heightened efficiency and improved turnaround time, versus orders placed via phone or fax. Available suppliers and practice management systems integrated with VisionWeb are listed on the VisionWeb website, located at www.visionweb.com.

Ordering on VisionWeb is free for eyecare providers and VWI members will continue to receive their buying group discounts when they order to their suppliers through VisionWeb. VisionWeb operates independently and does not interfere with pricing relationships that eyecare providers may have with their suppliers. Additionally, VWI orders placed on VisionWeb will contribute to royalties earned by AOA state affiliates participating in VisionWeb’s AOA Royalty Program. VWI members are encouraged to contact their AOA state affiliate executive director to find out if their state participates.
