We received a credentialing package from Superior Vision and I was wondering if anyone here deals with them. thanks in advance.

We are a provider but rarely see anyone with it. The few times we have dealt with it have been fine. The proviser reimbursement is better than some and I don't remember having to chase them down for payment.

I agree w/ coco. But filing is not easy for us. Because we don't see many, and you have to break everything down and charge the pt for SCR, UV, etc. All the plans I have seen have a $116 allowance for high-index. So even if they have a low rx, they are fully covered for Trivex or poly. Superior allows you to use any lab, including your own and just get reimbursed. Better than many plans, I guess.

thanks for the replies, I guess even if it only brings in a few patients as long as it isn't high hassel it might be worth it.

We are providers. We don't have alot of patients with it, but enough. Just double check the fine print. Some plans offer additional discounts over and above the regular coverage. Watch your costs! Good luck.
