    Wrap Frames W/ Transitions Bifocals

I've had a request for a Wiley X or a Panoptix type frame for a not small guy who wears a bifocal and wants photochromic bifocals for motorcycling. As far as I'm aware, you can't get a blank big enough in transitions ST-28 to make it work. Anybody had any luck with any other photochromic lenses for something like this? I hate to turn away business.

Contact Three Rivers Optical. They have the machinery to surface and edge these wrap type frames in round segs, blended round segs, in any material including transitions. They can also compensate thr RX for the wrap and posistion of wear.

www.3riversoptical.com or 1-800-756-2020. You may want to speak with "Al".

    Good luck

    should work

I have a bit of experience with Wiley X and a little (Bad) experience with Panoptix. Go w/ Wiley. Try Trivex Transitions, I like it better than LifeRx. If he is a big guy (decent sized PD), it should work. I have done at least a half dozen. Almost all the Wilex's are Rx-able to a + or -4. Many of the EDs are 62mm.
