    Our Santinelli Refurbishment process

When we refurbish a Santinelli edger, we spare no expense to do the job right. Every edger is stripped down to the base pan and built from the ground up. The base is blasted clean and painted, The head is taken apart, cleaned and reassembled using brand new sealed bearings and belts. The tracer is disassembled to the core, cleaned and reassembled with new film cables. The quill is redone using sealed bearings. The main motor is rebuilt, all plastic parts including the cover is sent off to a paint shop where they are custom painted using a high gloss durable coating. All relays and wiring are inspected and replaced. The latest software is installed. We replace the main drive belt, and install brand new wheels. The LMU is cleaned and reset.
We then reassemble all the refurbished parts and begin the calibration process. We test an average of 200 lenses in all materials, frame types and sizes during this process.

When buying a preowned edger it is very important that your edger comes with a full parts and labor warrantee, it is installed for you and that training is provided. Most of all, you will need support in the long run.
Many edger companys will not even talk to you if they did not sell you the edger. Other companys will sell you the part you need, on the condition that a technician comes to you for installation. This can be a major expense.

We have solved all of these major issues, and provide lifetime tech support on all of our edging systems. We also include all accessories and supply the blocker, blocks, pumps, tanks, hoses, etc...etc...
There are absolutely no hidden costs.

We are very proud of what we do and invite you to come down and watch our process first hand. When purchasing one of our systems, you will receive your edger in brand new condition and save many thousands of dollars. It is very much worth a plane ticket to spend a weekend on the beach and call it a business expense.

    Call me anytime for details

a few more pictures and the finished product.
If you look at the left side chuck, you can see that it is machined down to give you the ability to cut a much smaller "B" size. That along with the upgraded right side oil seal assembly allows this machine to cut an 18 B dimension lens.

    In our spare time..........

This is what we do for fun........

    THE HOTROD

This edger actually works. All we have to do is lower the hood, plug in a keypad and its ready to go. You can see it live at any of the trade shows. I am thinking of adding some underglow and some dry ice for effects.
