    Quality kids' frames...

    Other than:
    Flexon kids, Nike, X-games
    Safilo's various offerings
    Lux core product

Are there any diamonds in the rough?

    Thanks for the input!

I used Silver Dollar for my kids frames. The quality was nice as was the price, and they came with a 2 year "no questions asked just return the pieces" return policy.

I like Match Eyewear and Global Optique(value $$, but pretty decent).

A&A Jalapenos. I carry every style in the line. Colorful and fun. Very good price for quality and no issues with the vender.

I really like the safilo representation in the Liz Claiborne and Nine West styles for the 8 and up crowd.

Marcolin has some great boy frames in the Timberland line that do really well for us. Features on some styles include flex bridges, 180 degree temples, etc.

We do well with Noveau's Nickoldeon collection for the younger kids (and we get a great package price from our lab)

I do like the JellyBeans collection as well. Nice price for a good product.

    Boys, TMX (kenmark)
    Girls, Thalia (kenmark)
    Unisex, OP (clearvision)
ClearVision has just amazed me more every day. When I first looked at them, and the price points, I guessed they weren't as good as others, but the quality is high, and my rep is fantastic.
Also, Marchon has Disney for little girls and Power Rangers for little boys.
Nouveau had some intreguing kids lines, but I haven't bought any yet. Lots of their frames seem high-quality, amazing prices, and use brands from TV like Sponge Bob, etc.

Jalapenos do well - good but not great price point

Silver $ is great on warranties - no questions asked

Nouveau is great quality, but our local Wal-Mart carries them. I can't compete with their price. Egads, is Wal-Mart serious?! 2 complete pair of children's glasses for $80! Includes poly and a 1yr warranty (which is 4 times longer than their normal warranty)

What? a 1yr warranty is long?
Offer 2 years, and a staff that knows what they're talking about.

People, WM, LC, Sears, these guys are NOT our competition! That's like Angus Barn saying they can't compete with McDonalds! (no offense to employees of mentioned companies) If your pts want the lowest price possible, so what? Let them go. If they want quality, they know where to look.
