I feel I should point out that, although Sam has put a next to UK there, any Americans wishing to take these jobs will do better with an umbrella and a big woolly jumper :)
Maria, What is the conversion rate of Brithish Pounds to U.S. Dollars..seems to me that when I was in London last June, that it was about 2 dollars per each pound, but it seemed that the cost of living there might be higher, especially fuel costs.
I'm not sure of the conversion rate, but I think a dollar is worth about 65-70p. That could be totally wrong.
Certainly property prices are far higher here, mostly because there's no room. I would recommend checking some of our property websites for quivevent value, if you're ever upset about the size of your house :)
And of course, our petrol is very expensive!
Anyway, American Werewolf in London is on now, and they have just gone into The Slaughtered Lamb, which is like every pub in the northwest, so you'll have to excuse me!
1 GBP = 1.41770 USD or in reverse 1 USD = 0.705368 GBP
correct as of time of post...... and subject to market flucations.
Well Maria: Weather here in New England is no different from UK, wanna trade?Originally posted by Maria

Maria, When you refer to big woolly jumper, are you referring to the cold or that we would have a better chance of being a bear in a circus..............Mullo :D
